WNC Tiny Trails - Custom Font

WNC Tiny Trails is a custom hand-drawn font inspired by by Western North Carolina Mountain Region. The custom design was requested by Western North Carolina Tailscapes in their efforts to launch trail excursions for local groups. WNC Trailscapes desired a font that incorporated the history and culture of the region. To achieve the ask, the final design reflects narrow parallel paths to depict the various trails in the region along with various Cherokee symbols depicting the most frequently encountered landscape elements.

The final deliverable WNC Trailscapes included a custom postcard and patch for their Scout’s Day, an excursion day dedicated to scout troops only.
